Fecundity Figure

A type of offering bearer depicted on Egyptian temple walls which is mostly seen as personifications of geographical areas, the inundation, or abstract concepts. The male figures have heavy pendulous breasts and bulging stomachs, their fatness symbolizing the abundance they bring with them.
