A settlement site in southern Siberia belonging to the Hsiung-nu state of the last few centuries bc and first few centuries ad. The settlement covered c7 hectares and was defended by four lines of walls and ditches, showing clear evidence of Chinese influence. The community seems to have been based on millet farming.
