A large, frequently occupied, double-tell site on the Sava River in Serbia. On both tells, the prehistoric sequence goes from the Late Neolithic to the Middle Ages. The Late Neolithic occupation belongs primarily to the Vinca culture, with houses, pits, and a cemetery with copper grave goods. The subsistence economy of most levels indicates reliance on einkorn wheat, flax, and cattle husbandry.

A large, frequently occupied, site comprising two tells, formerly on an island in the Sava River in Srem, northern Yugoslavia. On both tells, the prehistoric sequence is broadly similar and divided into eight levels. Level I has Late VinCa houses and pits (on the south tell, a cemetery with copper grave goods). II is a prehistoric buried soil, which built up when the tell was unoccupied and which contains late Lengyel, Sopot-Lengyel III and TiszapolgAr sherds. Ill has pits with pottery of Middle and Late Baden and VuCedol types. IV has pits with pottery of the Bronze Age Omoljica-Vatin and Belegis groups. V is an occupation level of the Early Iron Age Bosut group; VI a Late Iron Age (Celtic) occupation level; VII a Roman building level and VIII a medieval cemetery. The subsistence economy of most levels indicates reliance on einkom wheat and cattle husbandry.
