Ruins of an ancient Maya center in the mountains of highland Guatemala. It is dated from Classic Period to Postclassic, when it was destroyed by the Spanish (1525 AD). It has architecture different from Lowland Maya styles; flat-roofed structures and far cruder construction techniques.
