Late Classic and Early Post-Classic fortified site in Morelos, Mexico, which benefited upon the collapse of Teotihuacán. The site is positioned to control access to the Balsas River drainage. A strong Teotihuacán influence is seen in the cylindrical tripod vases and obsidian objects. After the fall of Teotihuacán, however, the site shows evidence of new cultural influences: architecture in modified Talud-tablero style, a ball court, and Mayan friezes.
