In Korea, the protohistoric kingdoms of Koguryo, Old Silla, and Paekche, which existed independently from c 300-668 AD. In 668, the peninsula was unified under the Silla. The term also refers to the Wei (220-265 AD), Su Han (221-263 AD), and Wu (222-280 AD) in China of the Kingdoms of the Three Kingdoms / Six Dynasties period. It succeeded the Han Dynasty.
