Rock-cut tomb (hypogeum) in Vaucluse, France, with hundreds of bodily remains in two layers of c 2150 BC and c 2090 BC. The earlier layer had flint daggers and arrowheads, simple pots, and beads of copper, glass paste, greenstone, and turquoise. The upper layer had flint arrowheads in some of the skeletons, indicating a war grave.
