Late Neolithic settlement of the early Vinca culture in southern Serbia. The first of three occupation horizons has a radiocarbon date of c 4330 BC. Monumental fired-clay figurine heads have been discovered which were made by abstract modeling with plastic features reinforced by incised lines.
