Neolithic settlement site on a tributary of the Aiviekste River in Russia, dated to the 3rd millennium BC. The various levels are associated with vegetable- and shell-tempered coarse wares, with barbotine, incised and cord ornament, termed the Piestina style. A rich assemblage of amber buttons, pendants, rings and beads is present, as well as stone, bone, and antler tools and weapons.
