The Palaeolithic era, also known as the Old Stone Age, stretches back an incredibly long time, lasting from roughly 3.3 million years ago to around 11,650 years ago. This period is defined by the development and use of stone tools by our early ancestors, like Homo habilis and Homo erectus. These tools were essential for survival, used for chopping, scraping, and hunting. During this era, humans lived a nomadic hunter-gatherer lifestyle, constantly on the move to find food and resources. They formed small social groups where cooperation was key for survival. The Palaeolithic era represents the very beginning of our technological journey, laying the groundwork for the advancements that would come later.
