A site close to Hamburg, northern Germany, in a glacial 'tunnel valley', with late glacial occupation in peat deposits, with numerous remains of reindeer and stone and bone tools of Hamburgian type. The Hamburgian was Late Upper Palaeolithic, c 13,000-11,750 BP.
