Palaeolithic site on the Tisza River in the eastern Carpathian basin of the Ukraine with 13 layers, the lowest of which are dated to the late Lower Pleistocene, c 730,000 BP. The artifacts and dating show Korolevo to be one of the oldest occupations and having one of the most important Palaeolithic cultural sequences in Europe.
