A tribal name for peoples in the territories of modern Romania and Bulgaria during the later Iron Age. They are often referred to as Thraco-Getians or Geto-Dacians, and were strongly influenced by both Celts and Scythians. Their culture developed from the 4th century BC until their conquest by Rome in 106 AD. It is a local version of La Tène.
