An Upper Palaeolithic assemblage named for the type site, Atlit, in the Mount Carmel region of Israel. There are several layers with Aurignacian-like assemblages and this culture followed the Antelian (formerly Middle Aurignacian). It was among the assemblages that preceded various Mesolithic developments in the Middle East.

An Upper Palaeolithic assemblage named after the site of Atlit in the Mount Carmel area of Israel. The sequence of Upper Palaeolithic deposits in the east Mediterranean includes several layers with AuRiGNACiAN-like assemblages. The level which followed these in the Mount Carmel sequence was termed Atlitian by Garrod; the name is little used today.
