A small convex scraper the size and shape of a thumbnail, found in both Pleistocene and Holocene contexts in Australia. Finely worked examples are part of the Australian Small Tool Tradition. Increasingly reported from Pleistocene sites and distinctive feature of southwestern Tasmanian Pleistocene and Victoria assemblages from about 24,000 years ago.
